Captario is looking for a talented decision analyst to join our decision science team. In this role you will partner with some of the largest pharmaceutical companies in the world and support them in using Captario SUM to model and simulate projects and portfolios. You will build advanced models of pharmaceutical drug projects and share deep insights about risk and value in pharmaceutical portfolios. You will also partner across internal teams (e.g. product development, marketing, sales) to drive product vision and development. 


Captario is a fast-growing software product company (founded in Gothenburg, Sweden) catering to the pharmaceutical industry. Captario develops SUM – Strategic Uncertainty Management, a cloud-based modeling software allowing users to model drug project activities to derive insights about project risk, cost, timing, and value. Captario SUM sets a new gold standard for critical decision making in drug development, which will ultimately lead to better and more affordable medicines for patients in need.

  • Lead end-to-end customer engagements, including both evaluation and implementation projects 
  • Support customer learning and utilization of Captario SUM
  • Develop state-of-the-art predictive models in Captario SUM to support customers and internal stakeholders
  • Support sales interactions, presentations, webinars and conference participation
  • Data analysis and visualization: Support customer business decisions by providing insights based on predictive analytics
  • Software development management: Collaborate with our development team to design and implement new functionality into SUM in a stakeholder role



  • BS or MS degree in a relevant discipline preferred
  • Proven project management skills with the ability to communicate complex ideas and data to stakeholders
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in the pharmaceutical industry (preferred) or other related experience
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Self-starter and a results-driven personality


Additional information

  • This position requires occasional travel to Europe and regular local travel
